Computer Literacy
Seattle is a city that is very computer literate. The City of Seattle uses the Internet as an integral part of doing business and offering community services, so it is the City's goal to ensure that all citizens and residents have access to computers and the skills to use them. The City of Seattle's Community Technology Program is committed to promoting a technology healthy community. This includes ensuring that residents have the information technology training and access needed to ensure civic and cultural participation, employment and lifelong learning.
