Council to hold final public hearing on 2010 city budget
SEATTLE – On Monday, Oct. 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, the Seattle City Council will hold its final public hearing on the city’s 2010 budget. This is the third opportunity offered to Seattleites who want to ensure their voices are heard as the Council makes critical decisions in addressing its $72 million budget deficit.
Interested citizens are encouraged to come early, with sign-up beginning at 5 p.m. For those unable to attend, there will be a live call-in from 4:30 – 5 p.m. with Councilmember Jean Godden, chair of the Budget Committee. The call-in number is 206-684-0481.
